Good Times

I love these days. This picture is of mine and my friend Stacey's kids. They played together this day in their pj's. One thing I love about Stacey and I, is that we truly share our days and lives with eachother. We take care of eachothers kids, stop at the store for eachother, talk about our kids and ways we can be better moms and often reminese about things are kids have done or are doing. We occasionally get away and go to dinner and shop, but its the daily things that makes our friendship special. We truly make eachother better people. I love seeing our kids sharing what we have shared - they are family and that's special.

Hang Gliders

On the way home from Fathers Day & Hunters 1st Birthday dinner we stopped to watch the hang gliders. Lexi and Matthew were so fascinated by this. They had to stay and see all of them land. We had fun and will have to do this again.

Hunter turned ONE on fathers day. I will post pictures when I download them from my camera (these are all iphone pictures). He has been wonderful and such a blessing to us, it has truly been a wonderful year with him.

Blowing Bubbles

Lexi's big event of the day was blowing bubbles with her bubble gum. It was so fun watching her try and try all day and then the excitement of I did it! These are big things in the life of a four year old!!!

Matthew getting a hair cut

Look at those toes!
Lexi loves being pampered! My kids are blessed with a good grammy. Roseanne is so good with the kids. One of their favorite things to do is have pajama days and eat oatmeal at grammys. She does crafts with them and they garden together. I am so glad they have her. Morning Cartoons with Daddy

My sweet boy is already 10 months old! He is 23.5 lbs. and a happy little guy!

Friends! I love this picture! Seems like we have a full house many days and I love it!
Jim brought home projects for Lexi and Matthew. This is Matthew hammering his plant box.

Today I reading through old posts and looking at pictures on my blog and it made me decide that I need to blog more. I know I mostly post pictures of my wonderful children but I guess for me this blog is a journal for us to look back on and remember our days. I am inspired to post more, even if its just a blurb here and there. So if you get bored seeing pictures of my kids, sorry!
I am ready for some nice weather! Come on Sun....come out!!
It seems like it has been one thing after another since the first of the year with my kids and their health. Lexi has been sick a few times since Janury, Matthew has had pneumonia and been sick twice. Hunter was on breathing machines most of Janurary and March. And now has MRSA (staph infection) and is on antibiotics! I am thankful that things arent worse and know we have it so much better than so many people who have far worse situaitons. But as a mom it is so frustrating for me to see my little ones sick. I am hoping the antibiotics are effective for my happy guy!

Hello!

Hello Friends! N0, I haven't posted in awhile. I decided I would save you guys the bordedom of reading about my sick kids. Seems like it has been one thing after another in January and February. They are finally healthy. Things are going well in the Mabry household.

We have had a fun Easter weekend. Lexi had a friend spend the night on Thursday, we spent Friday coloring eggs, and making and decorating cookies & cupcakes with my best friend from high school Stacey and her kids, which are also some of my kids favorite friends too! We spent Saturday morning Easter Egg hunting with Alision & Amelia - we did the same thing last year and it is so much fun!! The kids had a blast (so did I :). Lexi's favorite part was getting to have her picture takent with the Easter Bunny, she kept reminding me to go see him, it meant a lot to her. As for Matthew it was all about the candy. He loves sweet things. Saturday night we told our kids the Easter story and tried to explain to them what Easter Sunday is really all about. We gave the kids Easter baskets on Saturday night too, wanting Sunday to be about Jesus and not all of the other stuff. We like this plan and will do the same each year. We will celebrate bunnies, hunt eggs, give baskets and have a grand ol' time on Saturday. On Sunday we will try and help them understand the meaning of how Jesus was resurrected and celebrate HIM.

I posted pictures of our weekend and some other random favorite pictures of our last two months. Yes, they are all of the kids :).

Hunter

The best way to describe Hunter is DELIGHTFUL! I am so thankful for this little guy! He is well loved! Lexi & Matthew keep him kissed & hugged up. They love to hold and cuddle him. Jim and I are amazed at how peaceful and Joyful he is. I pray daily for our three kids and that God keeps them friends. I love how they love eachother and pray that, their love for eachother is a gift from God to each of them. They will need the love, support and wisdom of eachtoher all of their lives. Oh how I love them!!!
