The day I posted the last post was the day my father had died. We did not find out until the next day (the 16th). It has been a hard couple of weeks but we are hanging in there. On top of him dying there has been lots of drama with family, which has only complicated matters. I am thankful that is has brought his 4 kids closer together though :) I will post more details soon, but my emotional meter is on low for now.
Lexi, Matthew and I have been sick the past two days with some kind of stomach bug, so have been laying around.
This background to my blog is way to bright & bold...I shall change it sometime soon.
I will post pictures sometime soon when things settle down too!
Love to all!

I am blessed! When I sit down to think about how we are doing or to give an update, my mind always goes to the fact that I AM BLESSED! I truly feel that way.
Do I have the perfect life? NO. I live in a small modest house, we aren't growing money on trees, or taking extravagant vacations. BUT, I do have what matters most and what makes me the happiest.
I am blessed with a wonderful husband that is faithful and hardworking and loves me. I am blessed to be a mommy of 3 beautiful and healthy children. I am blessed that life is simple and fun! Yes, I always have laundry to do, and my house needs a good cleaning at this moment, but I can honestly say that my little mess makers are the delight of my life!
Lexi is loving kindergarten and I love watching her love it. It is so fun watching her learn to read, it is amazing how fast learning comes together in just kindergarten. I try not to think of her being in 1st grade and being gone all day, but I know she will love it. She already knows who she is marrying and that she is having 4 kids.....oh, the imagination of a child! She just got her hair cut short for the 1st time. She has begged me for a year to let her get a "bob" and finally she got her wish.
Matthew is my sweet, observant and logical little guy. I really cannot believe he is already going to be 5 in a few short months...oh, I hope the two months go sloooowly! Everything for him right now is about is birthday. He tells me everyday what he wants, and everything he likes and wants to get or do for his birthday. He is in pre-school and loving it. He has the cutest freckles and is always amusing us with the witty things that come out of his mouth. He is definitely a thinker, and I love it! A few days ago he told me that he wanted to marry Sierra (his good friend) and they are going to have 28 kids, and she is going to babysit all of them. He'd better be out making some good dough to feed em' all! He wants to be a fireman or policeman.
Hunter is my baby! And I too can't believe he is almost 3. He takes in everything around him, and communicates with very few words. His expression and body language say a lot! He loves Little Bear and would watch if all day, everyday if I let him. He is all boy, ruff and tough! He has a sweet little personality. He likes to do things on his own, he would rather not ask, but just get the job done.
As for me I am working part-time for Generational Leadership. I am loving it! I wouldn't trade the past six years and the long break from ministry for anything but am SO glad to be back. Jim is with our kids on Mondays and Tuesdays and that has been good. The kids get to be with grammy, whom they adore, the other two half days. Jim is working at Home Depot and doing well. We all keep him busy on his days off. He is a great guy I must say!
okay, back to the laundry...............
(I'll post pictures soon)

Lexi has learned to go all the way across on the Monkey Bars and is so proud of herself. She is so cute, she is all smiles all the way across. She has been working in this all summer.

We spent the day at the Lake yesterday with Stacey and her kids. The day went well with the exception of Matthew falling off the doc and into the water, good thing he had a life jacket on. He held his breath and managed to be fine, he was just a bit shocked.

The kids are playing dress up tonight, they are so fun to listen to and watch. They are cracking me up in their winter wear on this warm summer night.
