An update

I decided that it was about time I update my blog. I have been quite the slacker! Things are going well on our homefront. We have been enjoying this summer weather and keeping ourselves busy. I got my real-estate license and have been working for Matt, helping out with more of the administrative stuff that I can do from home. I am enjoying it!

Lexi and Matthew are wonderful of course, from a mothers perspective. Matthew is 10 months and growing and changing so much. He loves life and I love watching him explore his little world. He is now crawling, has three teeth, and making all sorts of sounds. He is now on day two of saying bye bye to the binkie. Lexi never had one and I thought it would be harder to get rid of, but I don't think its fazed him. I was going to let it go at six months but thought I would let him have it til' a year but thought this was the right time. I figure this way his bottle and binkie won't be going at the same time.
Lexi is 2 1/2 and expressing herself so much more. She entertains me with how she uses her hands to communicate what she wants. She is in the "I want to do it by myself" stage. She is playing more independently and loves her babies. She is is all girl! My favorite is to listen to her interact with her dolls, when she is not aware that I am paying attention to her. What imagination kids have.
