Monkey Bars

Lexi has learned to go all the way across on the Monkey Bars and is so proud of herself. She is so cute, she is all smiles all the way across. She has been working in this all summer.

A day at the Lake

We spent the day at the Lake yesterday with Stacey and her kids. The day went well with the exception of Matthew falling off the doc and into the water, good thing he had a life jacket on. He held his breath and managed to be fine, he was just a bit shocked.

Dress Up

The kids are playing dress up tonight, they are so fun to listen to and watch. They are cracking me up in their winter wear on this warm summer night.

A Week Away

We are thoroughly enjoying this sunny weather. I love the rain but a break from it has been quite nice. We are staying on Bainbridge Island in a vacation home for the week and we are having a blast. We have taken the ferry over to Seattle a few times and are having fun with the kids. Sue's brother Dennis and his wife Barb joined us from Chicago. It was my first time meeting them and I must say they were instantly family - the kids are loving them too! Jim has told me about them for years and I am glad I finally got the meet them in person. Hunter has captured Uncle Dennis' heart and he is offering to take him home in his suit case.

Matthew got to go to his very first Mariners game  (wont be the last:) ) with his daddy, Dennis and Sue. He had a blast and was so proud of his new water bottle that they handed out to the kids. He got spoiled by daddy with way too much candy, new spiderman sunglasses, and a Mariners baseball cap.

All in all we are having fun and will head home on Tuesday after a day in the big City. I will post pictures soon.

P.S - I really am getting back to blogging. I like facebook but this is more like a journal and I miss looking back and seeing our days in this format.

A fun day!

Hunter got his reading done for the day...........

My little bakers

I want to start blogging again, seems I really have to make an effort and time to fit it in, I try not to spend a ton of time on the computer during the days and get on late at night when my little ones are in bed. By then I'm so tired and the blog is not 1st on my priority list. BUT I do like being able to look back at our days and have the memory, so I am really going to make an effort to blog more this year. Rather than try and update you from our blogging vacation I will start with today.
We had a nice Sunday. We got up and all ate Breakfast together, french toast, Jim's favorite. The only meal we usually eat together is dinner so it was fun to sit and visit in the morning. Then we all went to show a friend a house, we sat in the vacant house and visited for awhile and watched the snow fall, then off to Chineese Food we went with Grammy, came home and we all took naps (Jim was at work by now). We woke up and all did a little cleaning, then we played a fun game I made up for the kids. I would hide my cell phone and call it from the home phone and they would go find it, they thought this was the best. Then we made a cake, and played tag, kids are so much fun to play with, I was laughing so hard as I am running around the house trying to escape them. I think if someone would have knocked at my door at that moment they would have thought we were crazy. We then ate our cake, and the kids watched Scooby Doo while I did a real estate report then off to bed. It was a fun day!
